NIGELLA Love In A Mist has feathery & ferny foliage, making both the foliage & the cut flowers great for fresh-cut bouquets. Also popular in dried arrangements are the unique seed pods. Love in a mist is very easy to grow & grows very quickly. It is a well-known mixture of white, pink, rose-red, mauve and purple shades—Pretty, delicate foliage, and flowers a little like cornflowers, followed by ornamental seed pods. Love In A Mist has been grown in English cottage gardens since Elizabethan times (circa 1558 AD).
Sowing Instructions
Sow in late Summer, Autumn & Spring everywhere except warmer areas where sow in late Summer to early Winter. Sow direct (as they don't transplant well) 3mm deep. Need 15-20°C to germinate. Germination takes 2-4 weeks—Frost tolerant plant.
