- Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Gently press seeds into seed starting mix and lightly cover. When seedlings reach 4-5” tall, pinch back tips to encourage branching. Repeat pinching in 2 weeks. Harden before transplanting in full sun after last frost.
