This easy-to-grow and highly productive variety is as fun as it is useful. We especially enjoy growing Birdhouse gourds for craft projects—letting the kids paint them in bright colors, drilling a simple entrance hole, and hanging them from the oak tree that canopies our old farmhouse. Over the years, they’ve been happily claimed by chickadees, wrens, and sparrows alike. Approximately 110 days to harvest. 25 seeds per packet.
